Responsibilities:
- Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit video content, including interviews, commercials, documentaries, promotional videos, and social media clips.
- Camera Operation: Operate video cameras, DSLRs, or other recording equipment to capture high-quality footage, ensuring proper framing, lighting, and composition.
- Audio Capture: Record clear and synchronized audio, including dialogue, narration, and ambient sound, using microphones and audio equipment.
- Lighting: Set up and control lighting equipment to create visually appealing and well-lit scenes.
- Storyboarding: Collaborate with clients, directors, or producers to develop video concepts, scripts, and shot lists.
- Location Scouting: Scout and secure suitable shooting locations, considering logistics, permits, and safety.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure video and audio equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Post-Production: Edit and assemble raw footage, add music, graphics, and special effects, and deliver a polished final product.
- Color Correction: Enhance and correct colors to achieve the desired mood and aesthetic in videos.
- Audio Editing: Edit and mix audio tracks, add sound effects, and ensure clear and balanced sound quality.
- File Management: Organize and manage video files, backups, and archives for easy retrieval.
- Quality Control: Review video content for technical quality and storytelling effectiveness, making revisions as necessary.
- Client Communication: Collaborate closely with clients or stakeholders to understand their vision and deliver on their video production needs.
- Trends and Technology: Stay updated on industry trends, new video technologies, and editing software to enhance video quality and creativity.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in film, media, or a related field (relevant certifications or portfolio are a plus).
- Proven experience as a videographer, ideally in various video production settings.
- Proficiency in videography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting gear.
- Strong video editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Creativity and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Adaptability to different shooting environments and conditions.
- Knowledge of post-production techniques, color grading, and audio editing.
- Familiarity with video codecs, formats, and distribution platforms.
