Project Overview

The Lecture Hall Building at the American University in Baghdad is one of the projects executed by Sumer Hills and Smart Oasis companies, a subsidiary of Raban Al Safina Group, from the design phase through to project delivery. The building is situated on a 10,000-square-meter plot and consists of three floors, each covering 3,600 square meters. The classrooms accommodate between 20 and 200 students, with a total building capacity of approximately 3,000 students. The facility features a modern and elegant design that combines comfort with advanced technologies. Each classroom is equipped with state-of-the-art educational systems supporting both in-person and remote learning, including lecture recording capabilities, alongside advanced audio and lighting systems. The building also provides spaces for group discussions and research activities, enhancing interaction between students and faculty. This project reflects the university’s commitment to delivering a high-quality educational experience in line with international standards, promoting idea exchange and innovation across disciplines, and serving as a vital hub for academic and research activities on campus.
